My Furry Girlfriend

ORONO - I know this is supposed to be a basketball concentrated blog, but I couldn't resist discussing my lovable dog.  They always refer to dogs as a "man's best friend" and that couldn't be more true in this situation.

She is an 11-month old German Shepherd named Ruby.  As a single man, I need someone so I'm not lonely, and although she can be a pain in the ass, she is still adorable.  She's protective of the household but can be a cuddle bug to me and strangers.

It's upsetting she is unable to be with me while I am at school in Orono, but it excites me every opportunity that I have to travel up to the crown of Maine and see her in Presque Isle.
